<p>The danby grassland region of York University was sampled over the course of two weeks using quadrats with an area of 1m^2. 20 quadrats were used to sample the edge of the grassland which was defined to be an area 5 meters from the human disturbed zone from the beginning of the danby grassland region. 20 quadrats were also used to sample the center area of the grassland, which was defined to be any area after the 5 meter mark from the edge. The number of individual milkweed plants were recorded in each quadrat, as well as the height of each individual plant and the density of the milkweeds in each quadrat. All of the quadrats were randomly placed in each location so as to ensure a random quality to the experiment. </p
