Melon fly pupal extract stimulates NO production in RAW264 cells.

<p>(A) RAW264 cells were incubated with various concentrations of melon fly pupal extract for 20 h. The nitrite levels in the culture medium were then measured using the Griess assay, as described in the <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0114823#s2" target="_blank">Materials and Methods</a>. (B) Expression of iNOS protein in the melon fly pupal extract-treated cells determined by western blot analysis using an antibody specific for murine iNOS.
