<p>Each line represents the fluorescence of a single cell (n = 11). Note the two distinct kinetics of fluorescence recovery. Approximately half of the cells recovered fluorescence immediately after photobleaching suggesting active YFP synthesis. The fluorescence in the second group of cells remained as low as in control cells treated with transcriptional or translational inhibitors.</p
