<i>Cd84⁻</i>^/<i>−</i> mice display normal hematologic parameters and unaltered levels of platelet surface glycoproteins.

<p>(A) White blood cell (WBC) count, red blood cell (RBC) count, hemoglobin (HGB) and hematocrit (HCT) were determined with a hematologic analyzer (Sysmex) (n = 5, two independent experiments, n.s. = not significant). (B) Expression of glycoproteins on the platelet surface was determined by flow cytometry. Diluted whole blood from the indicated mice was incubated with FITC-labeled antibodies at saturating conditions for 15 minutes at RT, and platelets were analyzed directly.
