<p>The present study analyses the grief process towards the loss of a sibling, and its implications on the patient’s social life, focusing the analysis on The Dual Process Model Grief, proposed by Stroebe and Schut (1999). The counselling sessions happened in the Grief Research and Study Centre within the Ana Maria Poppovic Psychology Clinic. The patient was a man on its thirties, married with no children, looking for help to ease the pain that emerged from the loss of his brother, which brought back his past losses, increasing his suffering.
