<p>This article aims to show the relevance of humanizing the patient care examining the integration of national policies of humanization (theory) and the professionals that work on primary care (practice), especially when dealing with patients with HIV/AIDS, focusing on principles of ethics and bioethics. Take care is a relatively new problem in the literature. Thus, we shall discuss, in a very brief, the main features of the National Humanization Policy (NHP) of SUS, the foundations of ethics and bioethics and its application to health professionals in dealing with patients in general, 116 especially those with HIV/AIDS. This is a research literature review and the applied study is descriptive and qualitative.</p> <p> </p
