Wild-type and PPARα-null mice were treated with fenofibrate (Feno) [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0112655#pone.0112655.ref021" target="_blank">21</a>], perfluorohexanesulfonate (PFHxS) (GSE55756), or WY-14,643 (WY) [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0112655#pone.0112655.ref022" target="_blank">22</a>] in separate experiments carried out in three different labs.
