Effect of various metal ions and chemical agents on enzyme activity.

<p>The enzyme was incubated with each metal ion or chemical agent at 45°C for 5 min, and residual activities of CarEW were measured using ρ-NPC₄ as the substrate. The activity of the enzyme not incubated with metal ions or chemical agents was defined as 100%.
