<p>A comparison of bootstrap variance and jacknife variance estimates of equally weighted sample medians for different sample sizes is presented, including examples of continuous and discrete distributions. The drop one jackknife variance estimates are calculated in the percentile scale and then backtransformed to the original measurement scale. Useful agreement between the jackknife and bootstrap confidence interval estimates, calculated using the boot() r package, is observed across the spectrum of sample sizes.</p> <p>This is a followup paper to results for continuous distributions.</p> <p>An R markdown file of the paper is available at at GitHub (see below)</p
