The article details a teaching method used to facilitate inter-cultural business communication for English as a Second Language (ESL) students in New Zealand and Australia. The author was looking for ways to engage international students by incorporating everyday authentic dialog into classroom activities. The author provides a tutorial exercise geared towards helping students identify, interpret, and understand different cultures and different expectations. The author presents a method to develop these dialogs, including defining the dialog, reviewing them with students, creating small groups of students to develop, practice, and perform the dialog, and debriefing students about what they saw and learned
