Quantitative real-time RT-PCR analysis of transcriptional levels of six selected <i>A</i>. <i>pisum</i> genes in response to bacterial infection.

<p>The mRNA levels of selected genes in infection with <i>S</i>. <i>symbiotica</i> CWBI-2.1^T (green), <i>S</i>. <i>marcescens</i> Db11 (red) were determined and are shown relative to their expression levels in untreated insects (blue). The expression level was normalized by comparative <i>C</i>_<i>T</i> (ΔΔ<i>C</i>_<i>T</i>) method using <i>ef1-α</i> as reference gene. Columns and bars indicate means and standard errors.
