Abstract

<p>SR-BI-expressing COS-7 cells were incubated with double-radiolabeled HDL or acro-HDL and selective uptake efficiency for each ligand was calculated as a function of ligand concentration (panel A; for 1.5 h at 37°C) or incubation time (panel B; ligand concentration of 10 μg/mL at 37°C). Values for binding to SR-BI and selective uptake of COE are shown in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0123138#pone.0123138.t001" target="_blank">Table 1</a>. Values represent the mean ± SEM of at least four independent experiments, each performed in triplicate. Data sets are presented following subtraction of empty vector values.
