Expression of UCP1 is decreased in <i>Cfl2</i> deficient mice.

<p>Western blot for UCP1 protein demonstrated decreased expression of UCP1 in 6 individual <i>Cfl2</i> deficient mice (KO) compared to 6 individual wild-type littermates (WT). Western blot for Tubulin and GAPDH did not demonstrate any differences in expression, as a control for protein loading. Densitometry was used to demonstrate this quantitatively, with statistically significant decreases of UCP1 seen in <i>cofilin</i>-2 deficient mice compared to wild-type littermates when normalized to either GAPDH (left bars) or Tubulin (right bars). Asterisks indicate the p-value for difference between KO and WT mice was <0.05 for both comparisons.
