International students’ decision making process and potential challenges in Poland

<p>In response to globalization, universities across the world are competing with each other through internationalization. Attracting international students at campus has become a major concern for universities. However, this phenomenon is relatively new in Poland. And international students’ circumstances are yet to be analyzed on country’s context. This paper identifies the factors that may influence international students’ purchase behavior. It also presents their ongoing challenges in Poland. It is found that they, particularly, non-European students, face extreme difficulties while legalizing their stay. Linguistic barrier also often sets them back. Moreover, country’s immigration policy does not favor foreign graduates.
