Total Synthesis of (+)-7-epi-Tarchonanthuslactone via a Chelation-Controlled Mukaiyama Aldol Reaction

The key step employed a diastereoselective chelation-controlled Mukaiyama aldol reaction to construct the chiral hydroxyl group at the C-5 position.</p>
