Objective: To measure disability-related stress through the development of the Physical Disability Stress Scale (PDSS) for wheelchair users. Design: Cross-sectional. Setting: General community. Participants: Sample of 119 wheelchair users with an acquired physical disability. Interventions: Not applicable.
