Gene expression levels of different angiogenic factors.

<p>The pro-angiogenic factors: Vascular endothelial factor alpha (Vegfa), Fibroblast growth factor (Fgf) 1 & 2 and Angiopoietin 1 & 2 as well as the anti- angiogenic factors: Angiomotin (Amotl) 2 and Thrombospondin (Thbs) 2 were tested. Data were normalized to the housekeeping gene Cyclophilin A, further calculated relative to the intact bone (day 0) and presented as boxplots with median and 25%-75% percentiles. The red dashed line indicates the course of the expression values over time. Significance level: * = p≤0.05 vs. intact bone; ♦ = only significant without Bonferroni Holm correction.
