Pretreatment with AMP-18 blocks TNF-↦ induction of p21 and cleavage of caspase 3.

<p>IEC-18 cells were untreated (Con), or treated with rhAMP-18 (2 ∓g/mL) for 30 min before exposure to TNF- ↦(50 ng/mL) for 2 h. Expression level of total p21 (<i>Panel</i><b>A</b>) and cleaved caspase 3 (<i>Panel</i><b>B</b>.) were detected by immunoblotting. Actin was assessed as a loading control. Representative results of 3 independent experiments are shown.
