Understanding and designing for the human operator's role in military command and control (C2) environments goes beyond any one discipline; therefore, Cognitive Work Analysis (CWA) attempts to integrate the contributions of psychology, systems engineering, sociology, and other cognitive sciences while conceptually distinguishing their separate contributions. We have tried to address the issues of modelling decision-making in the real world.
