Palmitic acid increased CD36 expression in podocytes.

<p>Quantitative RT-PCR amplification of CD36 performed with RNA extracted from podocytes treated with 100μmol/L palmitic acid at different time points (A), or different concentration of palmitic acid for 12 hours (B). The fold change for each group was determined using the delta-delta Ct method. Quantified mRNA levels were normalized to β-actin and presented relative to control group (podocytes were treated with 0 μmol/L palmitic acid for 0 hour).
