<p>The Global Fund works closely with FBOs, among other local actors, to channel its DAH funds to low- and middle-income countries. Though the share of funds received by FBOs from the Global Fund has drop from its peak in 2008, the Global Fund has provided a substantial greater share of its funds to FBOs in recent years than it did at its inception in 2002.</p
