This presentation details research evaluating the efficacy and cultural acceptability of a group behavioural family intervention program (Group Triple P – Positive Parenting Program) tailored for Australian indigenous families. This preventively oriented, early intervention program incorporates parent education groups, print and video materials, which aim to promote positive parent-child relationships, and to help parents develop effective management strategies for common behaviour problems and developmental issues.
