ACC voxel correlations with amygdala whose values <i>increase</i> as symptoms of post-combat emotional distress increase.

<p>For each correlation between one ACC and one amygdala voxel in the same hemisphere (amy_m::acc_n), we regressed its value across all subjects with CAPS score. Here we show the median of the positive regression values in the ACC. Threshold for significance was a <i>z</i>-score > 5.39. From upper left of figure: sagital slices at x = 10, 6, 4, 2, -2, -4, -6, -10, and -12 mm. Only values within the ACC ROI are shown.
