Sequence analysis of the HSV-1 gC gene from parental wild type 17+ and <i>dl</i>1403 derivatives.

<p><b>A.</b> Nucleotide alignment of a fragment of the gC gene from the current passage of HSV-1 <i>dl</i>1403 in our laboratory (<i>dl</i>1403), from the original <i>dl</i>1403 stock received by our lab (<i>dl</i>1403_ori), from the original HSV-1 <i>dl</i>1403R (ICP0 rescuant) received by our lab as well as from D8 and FXE, ICP0 mutant viruses derived from <i>dl</i>1403.
