<p>Multiplying p-values resulting from statistical tests is an old idea from meta-analysis, and the resulting product is a new random variable, of course. A few basic properties of its distribution can be found scattered across the literature of recent decades, but a more detailed description seems to be missing as of yet.</p> <p>This paper aims to fill in some of the gaps.</p> <p>While a few numerical examples are given, these are merely meant as toy examples illustrating the respective points, and <em>not </em>as guides for real-world applications.</p
