<p>Wild type and <i>Prmt2</i><sup><i>-/-</i></sup> BMDMs were differentiated under high glucose (25 mM D-glucose) or normal glucose (5.5 mM D-glucose + 19.5 mM L-glucose) and following differentiation were loaded with <sup>3</sup>H-cholesterol-Ac-LDL for 24 hours (0.5 μCi/mL <sup>3</sup>H-cholesterol and 50 μg/mL Ac-LDL), and then equilibrated in 2 mg/mL BSA media overnight. Efflux to APOAI (50 μg/mL), or no acceptor (all using 2 mg/mL BSA media) was done for 24 hours.
