Electron microscopic analysis.

<p>HzAM1 cells were transfected with Ar1b-HearNPV (A1, A2 and A3), HZ8-HearNPV (B1, B2 and B3) or wt-HearNPV (C1, C2 and C3) DNA, and cells were fixed at 72 h.p.i. and processed for observation. OBs purified from the Ar1b-HearNPV, HZ8-HearNPV or wt-HearNPV infected larvae were observed and are shown in A4, B4 and C4, respectively. (A1, B1 and C1) Electron dense nucleocapsids (Nc, black arrows) in the virogenic stroma (VS) infected cells.
