<p>The model that describes water inflow as a function of rainfall and stored water (<i>f</i>(rain,volume), <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0138278#pone.0138278.e005" target="_blank">Eq (5)</a>) had a much higher likelihood and thus provides a much more plausible description of the time series.
