The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of advanced MRI techniques like diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in the detection of possible early signs of infiltrating malignant glioma cells in patients with untreated anaplastic astrocytoma (AA) and glioblastoma (GBM).
