An verschiedenen Kohlenstoffmaterialien wurden Bestrahlungseffekte im elektronischen Energieverlust-Bereich diskutiert. Die Spurbildung in amorphem Kohlenstoff wurde experimentell analysiert unter Verwendung verschiedener Mikroskopietechniken (AFM, TEM) und durch ortsaufgelöste elektrische Messungen.
