Wir untersuchten die biomechanische Wirksamkeit einer valgisierenden Knieorthese an 16 Patienten mit medialer Gonarthrose (Mittelwert +/- Standardabweichung Alter 56 +/- 10 Jahre, Größe 172 +/- 9 cm, Gewicht 83 +/- 12 kg). Zum Zeitpunkt der Untersuchung betrug die Tragezeit der Orthese für alle Probanden mindestens 4 Wochen. Zusätzlich zu den bekannten Parametern der Ganganalyse, bestimmten wir das durch die Orthese ausgeübte Valgusmoment. Zu diesem Zweck gebrauchten wir ein neues Verfahren, dass durch Messen der aktuellen Deformation der Orthese die Bestimmung ihrer Rückstellkraft am Bein während der Standphase möglich ...
