This work describes the device prototiping with a femtosecond laser. The obtained structures are characterized by conventional and confocal microscopy. Hight guiding is verified by launching light and measuring the near field profile at the exit facet. Fiber Bragg grating where also recorded and heated to obtain regenerated gratings.
