Since car was developed, vehicular suspension is an object of research and study. The function of the suspension system of a vehicle is to minimize vertical acceleration, isolating passengers from shocks and vibrations promoting comfort, reducing fatigue which benefits the health and safety of drivers. This work presents a proposal for the control of vehicle suspension using an SDRE controller applied to the magneto-rheological damper. The efficiency of the proposed control can be evidenced through computational simulations using a quarter-car nonlinear mathematical model and a half-car nonlinear mathematical model.
