In order to solve the noising problems caused of the baseline drift interference, frequency interference, and EMG (electromyogram) interference in the ECG (electrocardiogram) signal, in this paper, an improved wavelet packet denoising algorithm is proposed, based on the analysis of the characteristic of ECG signal. For removing the baseline drift and the part of EMG interference in ECG signal, we adopt the Wavelet packet algorithm, however, for the removal of noise from frequency interference and part of the EMG interference, the method of threshold denoising is proposed. Simulation researches show that the denoising capability of improved wavelet packet algorithm is better than the digital filter, Mallat algorithm, the wavelet transform th...
