<p> The group divided tasks between the four datasets in this lab. This is the fourth dataset. It occured at the grassland area on York University's Keele campus. Using transects, we began on the grassy terrain, and spread it out along a fairly long distance to ensure maximum availability of space and distance to obtain bird sightings.</p> <p> Along the transect, we stopped to make sightings whenever possible, and recorded their approximate distance along the transect in metres. In addition to this, we noted the bird species/family of bird and the frequency of sightings (i.e. number of birds spotted).The wind speed was also measured according to the Beaufort scale, and recorded.
