Uncertainty in Ecosystem Models

<p>We rely on models to predict future ecosystem conditions, yet the uncertainty surrounding these predictions is often ignored. Failing to acknowledge these uncertainties could result in severe ecological and economic consequences due to misguided management advice. It is therefore important to ascertain the location, level and nature of uncertainties to describe why, how and to what extent model projections are uncertain.
