A <i>QSC</i> generates mismatch sequencing errors with probabilities <i>p</i><sub><i>i</i></sub> = <i>p</i><sub><i>s</i></sub> and thus, corrupted barcode bases <i>r</i><sub><i>i</i></sub> are observed after sequencing, <i>i</i> = 1, …, 12.
