<p>This experiment tested insect abundance relative to the plant abundance and the location. The experiment was taken place over 2 days, October 13 and October 20, 2015, at York University campus. The time it was collected was around 2:45 to 5:00pm for both days. The experiment used quadrats which is one meter by one meter in length.</p> <p>During the first day, the data was collected from both the grassland and the woodlot. For each location 30 quadrats were used, so for the first day a total of 60 replicate quadrats were used to obtain data. The weather on the first day was partly cloudy, sunny at times, slightly windy, and the temperature was 17°C.
