CD2 binds and activates Src kinase.

<p>(A) Five hundred μg of total cell lysate was immunoprecipitated with 3μg anti-Src antibody and immunoprecipitates were subjected to Western blot analysis of YFP and Src. A representative blot of at least three independent experiments is shown. (B) YFP-1, CD2-1 and CD2-2 cells were grown up to 90% confluence, serum-starved overnight and total cell lysates were analyzed for pY418 Src and total cellular Src (c-Src). A representative Western blot is shown and the data are mean± SEM of at least three independent experiments. * p<0.05. (C) Total cell lysates were analyzed for pY529 Src and cellular Src (c-Src) in the same way as described in B. Quantitative analysis of at least three independent experiments is shown.
