Ectopic expression of miR-101 inhibited the metastasis of ESCC.

<p>(A and B) The migration and invasion ability (24 hrs) of tumor cells was determined by transwell chamber assay as described in Materials and Methods (left for migration; right for invasion). (C) 3 × 10⁶ cells were inoculated into nude mice by tail vein injection. Twelve weeks after inoculation, mice were killed and metastatic nodules on the surface of liver were counted. Hematoxylineosin staining showed the nodules on the liver were metastasis. The results are expressed as mean ± standard deviation of data from three independent experiments, each with three repetitions, ***, <i>P</i> < 0.001.
