The effects of social networks (Face book, Viber, lines) on religious aspects of eighth grade girls in the city of Shiraz in academic year 2014-2015

<p>The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of social networks in the city of Shiraz (Region 1) in the academic year 2014-2015. The research method is descriptive survey and the type of meta-analysis. In order to research among 3287 eighth grade girl students of Shiraz, 381 students were selected with cluster sampling method as the sample size and then relevant questionnaire (Gluck and Stark, 1965) was distributed among the participants. Coefficient of validity of the questionnaire was evaluated by a number of experts and reliability coefficient of by Combat’s alpha has been reported in the religious beliefs questionnaire was 0.83 and reliability of religious beliefs was 0.81, ritual aspects was 0.83, religious emotions was 0.75, and religious impacts was 0.72.</p> <p>In order to analyze the data were used SPSS software and statistical methods in the descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that the use of social networks (Face book, Viber, line) is not effective on religious beliefs and religious emotions aspects, However, the use of social networks (Facebook, Viber, line) impact on the ritual aspects and religious impacts, thus, It can be concluded that the use of social networks (Facebook, Viber, line) affect on religious aspects of eighth grade girls in the city of Shiraz.
