Altered IL-1β and BDNF mRNA expression following drug consumption and contextual fear discrimination.

<p>Samples were collected from the hippocampus of sacrificed animals: pre-CFD (4 days after drug consumption and 12h after behavioral studies), non-CFD (22 days after drug consumption) and post-CFD (4h after completing the CFD task and 22 days after drug consumption). Relative (<b>A</b>) IL-1β and (<b>B</b>) BDNF mRNA expression following drug consumption reveal alterations related both to drug and behavioral testing.
