<p>After treatment of orbital fibroblasts with 200 μM H2O2 for 1 hr, the cells were washed with the PBS buffer, followed by incubation in a complete medium for another 24 hr. By a CTGF ELISA kit, the H2O2-induced release of CTGF in the cultured medium was assayed in the primary cultures of orbital fibroblasts from 5 GO patients and those of age-matched controls, respectively. The representative histogram was constructed as a bar-graph on the basis of the results from three independent experiments. Data are presented as means ± SD of the results from three independent experiments (*, p< 0.05, ** p< 0.01 vs. the indicated group).</p
