FabV-Triclosan selection system is compatible with other antibiotics.

<p>BL21(DE3) harboring Bla or FabV vectors were spread on agar plates containing either Ampicillin or Triclosan. Antibiotic sensitivity discs impregnated with Chloramphenicol (25 μg), Kanamycin (50 μg), or Tetracycline (10 μg) were placed. Following overnight incubation, zones of inhibition were measured and compared between the two selection systems. Error bars show standard deviations calculated from at-least three independent experiments each performed in duplicate.
