Sod2 is repressed in R1 ESCs transfected with shRNA targeting Oct4 or Nanog.

<p>R1 ESCs were transfected with pLKO.1-puro derived vectors targeting stem cells’ transcription factors (shOct4 or shNanog), or eGFP (shGFP, control), as indicated under each bar. Then, transfected cells were selected with puromycin for 48 hs and RNA was extracted. The expression levels of Oct4 <b>(A)</b>, Nanog <b>(B)</b> or Sod2 <b>(C)</b> were analyzed by RT-qPCR and referred to the control. Gene expression was normalized to the geometrical mean of Gapdh and Pgk1 expression and referred to the control condition. Results are shown as mean ± SEM of at least four independent experiments.
