Blockade of TREM-1 and Dectin-1 promoted host resistance to fungal infection.

<p>B6 mice were subconjunctivally injected with mTREM-1/IgG fusion protein (1 μg per cornea), soluble β-glucan antagonist laminarin (1 μg per cornea) or both into the right eyes before <i>Aspergillus fumigatus</i> infection, followed with administration with the same dosage on each day p.i.. Images of fungus-infected corneas (A) were acquired by slit-lamp photography and corneal scores (B) were recorded at 1, 3 and 5 days p.i.
