Comparison of fluid accumulation between survivors and non-survivors.

<p>Early fluid accumulation: occurring in the first 24 hours of PICU admission analyzed in all patients (n = 202). PICU-acquired daily fluid accumulation: analyzed the maximum daily fluid accumulation occurring during the next 6 days in patients with at least 48 hours of PICU stay (n = 154). Fluctuation in fluid accumulation: calculated as the difference between the maximum and the minimum daily fluid accumulation obtained during the first 7 days after PICU admission in patients with at least 48 hours of PICU stay (n = 154).
