<p>Cattle sampled were of a range of different breeds found in the UK. 175 cattle were Aberdeen Angus cross, 118 were Limousin cross, 73 were Charolais cross, 48 were Aberdeen Angus, 37 were Simmental, 33 Holstein Friesian, 26 Limousin, 18 British Blue cross, 12 Charolais and 85 were of other less common breeds.
