HDL inhibited SAA-induced sPLA₂ secretion in thioglycollate-elicited primary peritoneal macrophages.

<p>Thioglycollate-elicited primary macrophages were isolated from Balb/C mice, and stimulated by SAA (2.0 μg/ml) in the absence or presence of HDL for 16 h, and extracellular levels of sPLA₂ were determined by Western blotting using antibody raised against a unspecified conserved peptide in the C-terminus of sPLA₂s (Abcam, Cat. # ab139692).
