Confocal laser microscopy to detect cell apoptosis in different treatment groups.

<p>Cells were seeded into a confocal dish and infected with <i>Brucella melitensis</i> 16M at MOI (50:1). At 6 h after infection, the cells were washed with PBS 2–3 times, and incubated with a mix of 500 μL of binding buffer, 5 μL of Annexin V-FITC, and Propidium Iodide at an ambient temperature away from light for 5 min. Cell apoptosis was observed under confocal microscopy.
